Hello! My name is Scott Pederson. I’m a guitar builder based in Zimmerman, MN. I’ve been building guitars for nearly 20 years, until recently it’s been a hobby I love. 2021 is my start into a new career path of guitar manufacturing in small batch scale offerings to the public.
All of my guitars are original designs, hand built from hand selected lumber. I perform the entire build process from start to finish, so all build details are intimately understood by one guy, me, not the case with factory guitars. This is really what a small builder has to offer, personalized, handmade and unique vs. assembly line processing and machine made.
Henry Ford paved the way in making things affordable for us all, yet sometimes it’s nice knowing that special things still exists that aren’t found on a big box store shelf, made by someone we don’t know and owned by everyone we do. Handcrafting is how we used to create and make things, with quality and pride following a makers name. With that, my goal is to artfully build, in old school tradition something others find beautiful and useful, and to the guitarist themselves an instrument to create and express their own creativity and art.
